• Extensive Calibration: Successful repair demands meticulous calibration: bed leveling, axis alignment, belt tensioning, and part testing. Achieving reliable print quality is a multi-step process, not a quick fix.

• Complex Problem-Solving: Diagnosing failures is rarely straightforward. Issues may stem from hardware, software, or design problems, often requiring a methodical process of elimination to identify the root cause. This investigative approach can significantly extend repair time.

• Parts Sourcing & Lead Times: With the wide variety of 3D printer models and brands, sourcing the right parts can be unpredictable. Common components may be readily available, but specialized or imported parts can take up to three weeks (or longer) to arrive, especially if back-ordered or subject to manufacturer delays.
